Installer/Fenestration Tech

and General Carpentry

What is Fenestration? The arrangement of windows and doors on the elevations of a building.

We are looking to add to our team of well-respected and professional staff. You will perform all tasks required for the retrofit and new installation of windows and doors throughout Whitman County, as we continue to expand our operations into general contracting as well. Job sites will include both commercial and residential.

Tasks include light demolition, trim work (interior & exterior), window installation, door installation, light framing, occasional metal work, and other tasks as required to provide quality products and service to our wonderful customers.

Must be a thorough professional with a practical mind and great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to complete the job while leaving every worksite “better than we found it.”

Responsibilities:
We are a drug and alcohol-free workplace with safety first at all times. Drug test will be required. Honesty and trust from our customers is vital, background check will be required.

Pay:

$18 - $30 per hour based on prior experience and work history

Benefits:

Steady Job (5-day, 8-hour schedule during Fall/Winter Months; 4-day, 10-hour schedule for Spring/Summer Months)

Required:

Experience in general construction and/or fine carpentry trade
Ability to Lift and carry heavy objects such as doors, windows, lumber, sheets of glass and other building materials
Ability to work while standing, crouching or climb at height for extended periods.
Ability to read, and record measurements.
Ability to read, comprehend and execute according to manufacturer instructions, diagrams, or construction plans.
Must show proof of and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Recommended:

Experience removing existing and installing new windows and doors.
Experience framing exterior and interior walls, floors and ceilings.
